Let's be honest, these are some wild and crazy times we are currently living in. If you had told me 2020 would bring a Virus that would pretty much force the world to shutdown I would have asked you which TV show or movie plot you were referencing not believing this could be reality? But, here we are and its times like these that we have band together (while practicing social distancing) and help one another. One way to do that is by helping to support local business owners and their staff through this difficult time. Below are 4 EASY ways you can help all from the comfort of your couch.
1.) Carry-out and delivery You don’t have to cook, and the restaurant is still making some money, it’s a Win Win for everyone. Check to see if that’s a possibility at your favorite eatery, if not do a quick google search and you may discover a new local restaurant to fall in love with. 2.) Buy gift cards We will get through this and when we do small businesses will once again open their doors, so why not purchase a gift card now, that you can use later? This is an awesome way to make sure that your favorite restaurants or boutiques are getting some income right now, when their business needs it the most. 3.) Shop Online One way you can support a local business is by shopping from the comfort of your own home. Not all boutiques or retail stores may have this option to offer online shopping, but if they do, it’s a great way to support a small business while practice social distancing. 4.) Show Social Media Love Spread the word on your favorite local businesses, shops, and restaurants. Like their Facebook page and leave a 5 Star ⭐️ Review. Follow them on Instagram, leave a positive YELP Review! By showing these businesses some online love you are helping to promote them and drive customers to them once they re-open their doors.
Bottom line, while we are all confined to our homes, why not do something productive and help out the brave dreamers who took a chance in becoming a business owner, suppling their communities with services, goods and jobs.
Stay Safe Everyone!
